Greetings! :D

Today is the first of March, therefore it is the beginning of the Squad's second monthly critique contest. *fanfare*

[link]

Held from March 1 to March 31. There will be two sections to this.

1. March 1-21. Critiquing. A short story has been supplied and the members will critique. The comments on this short story will be what the judges judge. For an example, head to the February CC short story. [link]

2. March 22-31. Judging. Unless I can't find enough judges, I won't be a judge, since the short story is mine. The judges will rate each critique, the numbers will be tallied, and the top four comments chosen for the next phase.

All members submitting a criticism for the contest should type "ES-CC" at the top of their comment.

Let's make this a more fun and exciting contest than February, yes? Yes? YES?

Also, for those ES members who haven't submitted their membership critiques, your entries will be treated as if they do not exist until you submit them. You are warned.

Welcome to the Editorial Squad!

Welcome! Here at the #EditorialSquad we are dedicated to being dA's greatest team of editors. Pick up a red pen, get a mug of coffee, and sit down to help us edit the deviantART community.

General Rules:
:bulletred: We reserve the right to refuse submissions.
:bulletred: Plagarism is a crime, and will be reported.
:bulletred: Carry yourself with decorum (be nice!)
:bulletred: Edit and edit some more...

Membership Process:
Members are not automatically approved. If you want to join, you must send a note to the group linking back to three literature critiques* you have done on DA. The Staff reserves the right to deny membership to people who aren't serious or do not know the English language and its grammar well.

Please give the Staff time to read your critiques and discuss your membership.

*By "critique" I DO NOT mean the "Critique" option open to premium members (though those are also acceptable). I'm using the word as the English purely indicates, a "critique" of someone's work. See [link] for a long example of a "critique," or a comment.

The Squad

Here is the Staff of the #EditorialSquad. They can handle any problems or concerns you might have. Please be respectful, these are all volunteers.
